This is the first time I heard about Ballets Russes. I was attracted by those beautiful garments and objects posted on Instagram . And I did have more individual research to see other objects and documents of Ballets Russes, illustration, video, and past related exhibition, for example.

I can’t imagine that they used “gold” colour so early, especially in Europe at that time. It was a very innovative way in the arts. So, my design to reply this open call is using “gold” as the main feature, but I don’t have any gold colour, and I found out one of my favourite biscuits package with gold and geometric pattern. It is very fit for the design element of the Ballets Russes, so I did it in collage way.
